Mr. Lam Heung Yeung, Horace

Mr. Lam holds a number of professional qualifications, including: a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, a registered chartered surveyor, a full member of the Chartered Institute of Building and a registered professional surveyor.
Since joining the industry in 1985, Mr. Lam has been engaged in building construction projects and later participated in maintenance work. To date, Mr. Lam has been involved in construction projects with more than 38 years of experience in building construction, building surveying consultant and building maintenance projects. With decades of working experience in various major organizations, including building construction contractors, large building surveyor firms, church medical institutions and maintenance building contractors, he has professional knowledge and experience in all aspects of construction, including various waterproof materials. The application and construction standards help Mr. Lam in handling water seepage detection services to accurately find the source of water seepage and provide professional repair suggestions. He can also issue detailed and legally binding water seepage detection reports, which will help customers to provide evidence in court.

Mr. Alexander Mak
Qualification to practice law
China Association of Appointed Notaries
Mr. Mak has been practicing law for more than 26 years. Mr. Mak was qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong in June 1997 and as a solicitor in New South Wales, Australia in July 1995. Since December 2015, he has been appointed as a China-appointed notary by the Ministry of Justice of China.
Mr. Mak graduated from the University of New South Wales in October 1994 with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a Bachelor of Laws. He subsequently obtained a master’s degree in law in Chinese and comparative law and a master’s degree in arbitration and dispute resolution from the City University of Hong Kong in November 2003 and November 2006, respectively.
Mr. Mak is skilled in handling disputes and litigation of a civil nature, including legal disputes arising from water seepage issues.
Construction
Mr. Cheung Sam Fai
Mr. Cheung holds a Higher Diploma in Construction Technology and Management (Surveying) and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and Management. Since joining the maintenance construction industry in 2006, Mr. Cheung has more than 17 years of engineering experience and is mainly responsible for supervising and managing the execution and operation of projects.
Mr. Cheung has been involved in the management of different types of construction projects in the past, such as church properties, international schools, Grade A commercial buildings and private housing estates. The residential sector includes Telford Gardens in Kowloon Bay, Luk Yeung Sun Chuen, Tregunter in Mid-Levels and Smithfield Terrace in Sai Wan, which covers more than 20,000 private housing units. The scope of management projects includes A&A works, building renovation and maintenance, various large-scale waterproofing and external wall waterproofing works, etc.
With his rich experience in project management and years of communicating with different stakeholders and owners, Mr. Cheung has the patience and problem solving skill in dealing with client’s water seepage problems, so as to solve their problem ultimately.
Construction
Mr. Lee Wai Sing, Bruce
Mr. Lee has over 25 years of working experience in the construction industry and holds a Higher Certificate in Building Studies. He is mainly responsible for supervising and managing the execution and operation of projects. In addition, Mr. Lee also holds a Grade 1 Plumber License and various plumber test certificates issued by the Water Supplies Department.
Mr. Lee has participated in a large number of water leakage investigation, repair and restoration works in the past, and is currently participating in the water seepage investigation project contract of the “Joint Office of the Buildings Department and Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (“Joint Office”)”.
In terms of project experience, Mr. Lee has participated in a number of renovation projects in the past, including the 3-year term contract of Clear Water Bay School, New Kwai Fong Garden, The Peak School, Tung Shing Building in Mong Kok, Flora Garden in North Point, 81 Hung To Road and Wharf Pacific Club’s project, etc., which covers more than 30,000 private housing units.
With his professional academic qualifications and familiarity with water pipes and drainage, Mr. Lee is absolutely unique in handling water seepage investigation work.
Construction
Mr. Lo Leung Sang
Mr. Lo has over 28 years of work experience in the construction industry and holds a Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
In terms of work experience, Mr. Lo has participated in a number of major projects in the past, including the MTR 3-year Term Contract for General Building Repair and Shop Repartitioning Works, Whampoa “Wing Wing House, Yuen Wing House and On Wing House”, Yuen Long Tai Hing Building, Yau Ma Tei Man Yiu Building, Tai Po Beverly Hills, Tai Po Elegance Garden and Kowloon Bay Richland Gardens, etc. The project covers more than 50,000 private housing units.
With his rich maintenance experience, he has handled thousands of water seepage cases in the past. When conducting unit water seepage inspections, he can analyze water seepage problems more accurately and in-depth. In particular, some more serious water seepage cases do not have only one source. They must rely on experienced surveyors to judge accurately and make practical and feasible repair suggestions.
